A Public Screening of Frederick Wiseman's 1968 "High School"

A public screening of famed documentarian Frederick Wiseman's 1968 "High School" at Videology in Brooklyn followed by interview and Q&A with Mr. Wiseman via Skype. Questions probed into Wiseman's unique 55-year documentary career of making "cinema verite" films about institutions. Wiseman's documentaries have no narrator, interviews, or archival footage. Rather, they simply capture the subject through skillful editing. Wiseman also discussed how he generates film ideas, often at random like from reading a magazine at the dentist's office.
